Group Classes

Pilates mat classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. A series of exercises at multiple levels inclusive for a beginning, intermediate, or advanced pace. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Various props (e.g. flex bands, foam rollers, rings, light weights, and balls) are incorporated to enhance and intensify the workout. No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join a mat class. (Drop-In OK).

Small group equipment classes utilize the primary Pilates apparatus. The spring resistance of this specialized equipment provides a challenging, bone strengthening endurance workout. Best of all, the equipment is easily customizable for the user which allows individuals to work at an appropriate fitness level. Visible results can be seen after a dozen or so regular sessions. If you are new to the Pilates, we suggest you start with our discounted introductory package of 3 sessions to learn the basics before attending group class.
